Can anyone recommend a radio installation shop in the Philadelphia area?

Can anyone recommend a good radio installation shop in the Philadelphia metropolitan area? I'd like to make some adjustments to the Bose system. Center City location preferred but integrity and competence matter more.

Many thanks.

Goodman Radio in Bryn Mawr is good, they do a lot of highend. The guys at tweeter in KOP were also pretty good.

StphNieuw, I just noticed that you have a 4080 custom box. Mind if I ask who did the install?

Thanks.

I installed it myself with the help of a friend who does custom audio work. Installing the box wasn't that hard. I found the hard part was the wiring in the fuse box. Removing the speakers wasn't that bad either with the DIY's, the hardest part was doing it without breaking the clips that hold the panels in place. The box is great, fits extremely well and doesn't take up too much space unlike other ones I have seen. Plus the price is great. If your looking at tweeter I believe the guys name was Chris. He had done prior work on RX8 and new the car well.

Definetly the best box you can get for a RX8 in terms on money, space and performance.

Not a problem. Are you also a member of the Tristate RX8 Club? Check in the NE forum to see were others got their systems installed.

they should, they carry pie interfaces for most cars, and if they havent done an 8 yet, mine will probably be done shortly after i start back, plus we can always call tech support lol

removing the radio is not a big deal, i had mine out last week just to see how it was done

Hey, I couldn't help but to see you guys mentioning my friend Chris at Tweeter in KOP....awesome guy and helped me so much with my whole project install. They were also very very easy to work with, as far as all my "little" concerns about doing it right, and not "braking " anything....I'm sure I already posted the pics on the site before. My whole trunk is color keyed with vinyl to match my red and black leather interior.

I have a pie like adapter (http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/MA...ER_p_4497.html) and have never had a chance to install it. What would something like that cost to get installed?

is that the only thing you need installed, or do you need any wires run?

probably just that because I will get the satellite receiver replaced with a different unit in a little while and I haven't made up my mind if I just want to run a mp3 player.
