The Bose system is unacceptable
 

Nice car, but the stereo system needs serious work. It takes a lot of the fun out of driving, by not having crisp, clear highs-mids-and some nice bass. Going tomorrow to Car toys and getting 10 band EQ, JL 450/4 for the front, JL 450 for the back, and an Orion 800 to push two 10" Rockford Fosgate subs. That should put the joy back into listening to the stereo. My wife just can't get enough of quality music provided by a quality stereo system that apparently did not come with the supposed awesome 300 watt 9 speaker Bose system. Hopefully the stock speakers will hold up for a while. Anyone else not satisfied with the system? What did you do about it?

do a search this has been discussed to death...

definitely add a sub to take the burden off the stock speakers...this way your mids will come back to life and your lows will be much more distinct

then swap out the small speakers in the door...your highs should be much better

Personally I don't give a rats ass about all of this since I love listening to the engine but I still might add a sub anyway in the passthrough :)
