I just ordered one of these after hearing a little bit of speaker noise after the headunit powers up. I'm pretty sure it is because the speaker out lines are higher voltage/wattage than the stock Bose amp is designed for. I'm just curious if anyone else has used one or had any tips for when I install mine. Thanks

It comes with a small instruction paper that explains to simply turn gain down on all 4 channels, then turn your radio to about 3/4 vol, then adjust the gain up until it slightly distorts and then fine tune it. Easy enough however I have an interesting plan for its location so it is easier to adjust and I don't have to disassemble my dash again, right before the Bose amp in the trunk. So now I need to determine which wires are which on my 04 GT w/ bose. Anyone know the colors/pinout of the bose amp input wires or know how to use a multi meter to figure out which ones are audio channels and which are +/-.

You could wire some resistors on the speaker line outputs and save yourself about $40 and achieve the exact same thing, possibly with better results.

I actually have bags of assorted resistors I use in a variety of my other hobbies, I just wanted something clean and easy to adjust. I'd recommend it to anyone but would say that it's better to try to install behind the head unit vs. in the trunk, assuming you have any room left back there

There really shouldn't be anything to adjust, you do the calculations and that's it (and someone has already done those).
