i will be installing two 10" JL W1v2's in these custom enclosures. the plan is to mount them at a slight forward angle so the sound will be projected at the largest area of the trunk and into the cabin.

It's a thoughtful effort, but I think most of us are just going to tell you to go check out the DIY thread on using the search button!

Using the rotor as a housing for a sub woofer is just ingenious. I don't think anyone have thought about doing something like this before.

We were actually going to do that on mine, but with the floating/exploding theme we had going with the amp rack, we thought it would be too much, here are some large pics of my setup. We have plans to make some pieces to match the silver pieces inside the tail lights and have them flowing along the lines of the box, that way when you look into the back of the car it all goes together We also have the trunklid vinyled and a fiberglassed piece holding a backlit piece of lexan (In yellow of course lol) from the shop I'm helping out. (AudioFx here in Austin,)

I'm glad to see more soundstream and hey! you have my amp!!! I just got my car back today with the system in it. I have another thread going, but, I guess I'll drop a pic of mine in here too. Just don't flame me for doing it.

Thumbs up

Whoa! I wouldn't have thought to put subs attached to the trunk lid.

The cherry red 8 is carbon fiber, right?

Looks really nice. Lots of attention to detail, that's what I like.
