Anyone with Pioneer Avic Z3?
 

I found a great deal locally on a new Avic Z3, $750, and I was wondering if anyone on here has one. I really want an in-dash navi, I have an ipod, and was wanting the Kenwood DNX 8120, but this seams like a smoking deal. 10 gigs of internal music storage sounds cool, but only loading them from WAV format sound lame, as all my music is in mp3 format. Plus I hear the ipod controls on this unit suck. Any input?

I have the Z2 - It's the EXACT same thing.. except with a map upgrade.

Thanks for your input! :) Nice review. How's the boot time on this unit? I know everyone complains about the boot time one the F90BT...

Boot time is MUCH better than the F series..

I can start my car, and then put on seatbelt.. and it will be booted before i get out the garage - 15 to 20 seconds...

boot time in the F series has gone quicker since the firmware upgrade. Its acceptable in both. F-series is cheaper (in general, but 750 is a great deal for a z3) and has different options(live update). I have the Z3 in the M3 and love it.
