Anyone with INFILL G4 (Carputer) in your 8?

Search and not found any.

Any body with it?
Or it is too pricey that you can build many carputers with that budget and put them in many cars.

Any issue intergrade in 8?

Thanks

You can build a far better one for that price. That's the one that;s $2k right?

Not worth it - at least in my opinion.

A all-in-one solution just takes out all the fun of the entire project. For that $ you can spec together a damn good system with all the bells and whistles and have money to spare.

That said those types of systems are made for people who really just want a drop and go unit. It's more of a universal thing and nothing specifically tailored for the application. You won't have to deal with the hassle of getting the software (arguably one of the biggest hurdles in a carpc) running correctly. Remember even after the $ you drop on that computer you still need to get the dash kit (corksport/metra) and find a way to get sound out to the RX8. The stock impedance on the speakers are a out of whack so you'd need to replace the amp and the front two speakers to get an aftermarket amp in the 8 to be able to get sound from the carpc to the car.

In the end you'll drop $2,000 on the computer and nearly another $1,000 on getting it correctly into the car. I say spec out your own carpc for ALOT cheaper (see my thread) and just go through the troubleshooting process. In the end it's something you did and got to work in your car for yourself.
