aluminum dash?
 

Has anyone had their radio/console area done in aluminum instead of the piano black? I saw a picture a while ago that had like stick-on kits.. but I'm wondering if there are any actual alum sets out there that would replace the plastic. Because it looks damn hot.

Not that I have seen, as close as I chose to go was to paint the center sections a silver color to match the silver on the mid console.

Take your piano black console out, and take it to a body shop to get painted with www.alsacorp.com 's GHOST CHROME

It will look exactly like brushed aluminium

That's an interesting idea. I may give that a go. I found this link from searching, and it's pretty much exactly what I'd like it to look like (I know, it's a dash kit blah blah- but it's hot looking.)

It will look just as good if not better.

Bring all your dials and such, like the volume knob, all the AC controls, and get them repainted.

If you really want to do a good job, take all the radio controls, and make a stencil for all the lettering. Paint over the entire console and radio in ghose chrome, and then stencil all the lettering in black over top.

this would likely achieve the best results.
