Aftermerket speakers, OEM wiring

I purchased door speaker adapter plates, and i am wondering if i need to run new wiring to the headunit or can i just reuse the OEM bose wiring?

here is where i got the adapter plate for those of you who are wondering.

Well the OEM Bose wiring runs to the Bose amp. So running your own wiring directly to the head unit would yield completely different results.

You do realize the factory Bose woofers are 0.5 ohm, right? I guarantee you're not installing 0.5 ohm aftermarket speakers...

Factory head unit? Or aftermarket?

Aftermarket Head Unit.

I just wanted to avoid the Molex From hell, but i guess i will have to drill through it then to get the wires through.

Or just find the factory speaker wires and tap into them on both sides. One in the kickpanel and one in the door...

i was thinking of doing that, but after i already started.:icon_no2:
Did not go as smoothly as planned. ended up breaking both molexs just trying to get it out, however i was able to get the wires through with hours of fishing with a wire hanger. Ended up just gluing the rubber sleeves to the body to prevent water from entering, since the molexs were cracked and would not seat.

If i have to do it again, [thank god i never will] i would have just tapped into existing wires going through it.
