Aftermarket shift boot Recommendation

I know a lot of you are anti ebay... but this was a true leather shift boot and I'm gonna attach a picture of mine just to show you how great it is
He also sells some console add ons and a really cool handbrake sleeve I'm pretty sure he does any custom colors He made mine yellow leather with black stitching. Just request the stitching before you order it, and the leather. He'll let you know. And it fits the 8 perfectly, pictures attached. Attachment 266035 Attachment 266036 |
Wow. Thats cheap. I wish I didn't already spend 50 at RedlineGoods.
|
I bought from this guy. I'm pretty sure it ships from the UK. I bought a red/black leather scheme and it worked great. It fit perfect to the shift boot hooks under the console piece.
I'd buy from them again. I did buy the console cover piece, but haven't installed it yet....didn't seem like it would be very good fit, but i honestly haven't tried. |
Hmm i'm about to buy a new black one from them.
Thanks guys good find. |
the handbrake sleeve looks great.. i'll post some pics later. The console cover.. eh... I think it said something about glue? After that I kinda just lost interest..
let me know how it goes. Get some pics after. |
Did you install yours wrong? Looks liek its under the black plastic piece instead of over it. looks cool though.
Grungepup and I both just got black and red stitched leather ones tonight and after some trimming it fit okay. It's a little long but it works. And it was $7.99 shipped. I will post pics tomorrow |
love to see pics of that
One of my clips on the inside kinda broke off.. NOT because of me.. it was like that :) anyways point being it created a light hole which gave me some excessive noise.. probably try rigging it when I get it back though. that might be why you think it looks different though. |
no, you actually did it wrong.
the leather goes between the silver part and the black part, thats why its there and black not silver to match.. http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...96/photo-3.jpg |
Not bad for $7.95 shipped.

nice find.
Nice knob, looks better in my car though. |
Yeah I love my Voo Doo. The ring on the shift boot matches it perfectly. Grungepup got the same boot but he also got a piano black monster knob.
|
lol I wasn't talking 'bout the Voodoo....but I did have one in my ranger that i loved. The Greddy one in OP/
I like the suede look w/red. I wonder how it will wear in? |

|
no idea. I have a series 1. I bought a series 1 haha .. and posted in the wrong section.
|
got mine today Black/Black.
I was shocked at how well it fit. Looks exactly like OEM, only real leather. Thanks for the recommendation. |

Got my black w/red stitching boot the other day from these guys along with the monster knob I ordered from another ebay seller. Fitment is good, quality is good, and install was easy mainly because the bastard clip was already broken for some reason. Anyway what do ya think?
|
looks just like mine after I fixed the boot to go over the black lining.
I just think the leather quality is great for its price. Glad some people found topgaits useful. |
I ordered one from GB, in black/brown leather, nice looking except the brown is 5 shades too dark and the top of it doesnt have the plastic ring sewn into it as like the OEM, the dog now has a new chew toy.
|
You are supposed to use your OEM rim.
