Aftermarket seat install – Need Brackets/Sliders
 

The boyfriend and I have picked up a set of Cobra Imola S seats for the 8 for Autox, now we just need to find some seat bases and sliders for them. The car does have a sunroof so height will be an issue. I know vivid racing has seat bases for the 8 but it didn’t mention sliders with them, plus with the sunroof we don’t want to “stack” sliders on top of the seat base and lose valuable headroom. We will need something that isn’t too tall of a setup, I believe we have about 3 inches to play with for sliders/brackets, but I’d hate to find out the hard way that they moved the seat up too high and now he hits his head on the ceiling, haha. I came across this set here, has anyone had any experience with these before? These would be the ideal solution for the car since everything is in one piece and we have the option for side mounting.

Limitations – Sliders are a must as the boyfriend and I have quite a difference in height. The sliders and bracket must be low profile. First tentative date for autox is Sunday April 3rd, so if there is a local solution to this near Cleveland/Youngstown/Akron area… that would be great. We don’t mind waiting a few weeks to have some made if that is our only option, although it would be nice to get them in before the first event.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
