Advanced keyless
Soooooo.....long story short....my advanced card keys have failed (one after another) and they're $250 on the cheap side to get a replacement.
I'd like to get rid of the card keys all together because they're just not built very well. I'm wondering if you could take the advanced keyless module/receiver out of a newer mazda3/speed3 and install it in one of our cars. Their keys are way nicer and built WAY better and, if possible, I'd do the switch. Is this possible? If not, are there any other options? Thanks! |

Viper PKE (Passive Keyless Entry). Stand alone or an addon for remote start/alarm.

Rods, the reciever modules on the adv keyless is paired to the ECU... unless you have the means to reprogram your entire ECU, you'll end up having to pay teh dealership $$$$$ to replace the module. You're better off shelling teh $500 for 2 new replacements of your current cards OR going aftermarket like firebirdude mentioned.
