Adding sub to Bose system: searched before posting
 

I have a Bose sound system in my rx8 i mean it sounds great but i need bass and i do not want to rip out the bose and redo it

i want a sub woofer in the trunk and amp?

does the bose system have a hook up to a subwoofer?

i do not know where to look and do not want to risk pulling out the wrong things

are you sure you searched? - because i just typed "bose sub" and got almost 1000 results, and no less the 5 on the first page are exatcly what you looking for --

but yes you can add a sub to the bose, you just tap into the signal going to the rear speakers.

Better yet, tap before the amp.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the amp, yeah tap into the signal from the HU before it goes into the amp under the rear deck in the trunk. look at the "audio install reference" thread at the top of this forum for instructions
