6 disc problems with ejecting and loading

did a search found nothing on what im experiencing.

got the 6 disc changer and sometimes the cd will get stuck when i try and eject it then i just stick a cd in there and wiggle and it'll come out and when i go to load another cd in there it wont accept it.... iono what the deal is but i have to shut the car off and back on to try and load a cd again once it rejected the previous attempt

anyone know what might be goin on?

sounds like it's broke. Take to the dealer for a replacement.

When you press the load button, does the indicator "wait" come up? This should flash for about 2-3 seconds and then it will indicate "load". I have had no problems with my unit, either loading or ejecting. I have the 6-disc changer, but it was in the car when I purchased it. I had to read the manual on how to use it first.

yeah it flashes wait and then tells me to put in the cd and it wont pull it in... then it just shuts off and only the radio works until i restart the car i think ill just take it to the dealer fo r a new one.... ive read that you could just ask for instructions so you could install the new unit yourself..is that true??

sounds like you have a faulty unit. If it is still under warranty you shouldn't have to worry about installing it yourself. They'll do it for you at no charge. But if this isn't, you could get instructions on how to replace it, it looks pretty simple. The hardest is removing the dash peices, but otherwise it should be a simple plug out the old and plug in the new. You may want to check the audio portions of this site for additional info. I have received other parts from Mazda that come with pretty extensive instructions. I didn't have any problems doing it myself.
