4Ch Amp Wiring question

I have a Kicker KX1200.1 and a KX850.4. I will be using the 4 channel amp for the interior speakrs. Here is my question. What is the best way to wire the speakers with this hardware:

Infinity Components in the doors (speaker & tweeter)
Infinity tweeters in front (up high) and in the rear
Infinity 6x9's in the rear

I will also be using the Audiocontrol LC8 for the input to the amps...

Suggestions?

Hi,
What i would do for that install with a 4 channel amp, i would run the 6x9s off one channel and the set of components off the other channel, however for the set of tweeters front and back i would run these off the crossovers with your components. The reason i would do this is becouse i cant think of any other way you would get the right signals to the tweeters. Or buy a small amp just for the tweeters like this classy Sounsstream one and put a set of crossovers on only using the tweeter connetcion

Just a suggestion. How are you thinking of running them?

I am still working on they design and layout... I know i will run the front on 2ch and the rear on two ch but I wasnt sure about the tweeters... Didnt know if maybe it would work to tap them into the factory speaker line before it goes to the LC8

i edited my last post there after u replied. oops. ya tapping them into the original wires should work as you will get high pitch sound but in my opinion would not be too good as there may be unwanted signals sent to the tweeters also and they will not sound too good. It can be done though. This can easly be done with cars that have built in components from factory as the signals are already split.

If I were to buy a third amp, I would keep it kicker, That way everything is uniform :)

Ya im the same i keep everything uniform best way! it may be worth considering a small amp wouldnt cost loads or take up much space like a kicker kx100

if you insist on doing both the components and the extra tweeter, you can either get another crossover and hook the second tweeter to it, or (not so recommended) just hook the second tweeter in parallel on the tweeter output of the crossover you already have. the reason this is not recommended is because it will actually change the crossover point, changing what freq's go to the tweeters.

Say no to the extra tweeters entirely. They are going to cause all sorts of issues for you.

So just leave the stock tweeters in the door???

I have my Eclipse 3 ways mounted in the door powered by an Eclipse EA400. The soundstage was too low, especially if I had a passenger and their legs were blocking the highs. I tried using the stock tweeters to raise it, but wasn't happy. I swappped them out to some RF T1T running them off of the stock bose amp through their own crossovers and all is good.
