2009 RX-8 Custom Touch Screen Install.
 

Ok so I'm new at posts so bare with me if I uploaded the pics Wrong. No one makes a din kit for the 09 RX-8. I know Metra has a part number for one but when I called they told me that they are in production. So now one of my good friends who is the only MECP Master in NJ did the install. Tell me what you think.

Damn you have skills man. Much props, at first i thought it was gonna look like shit. Can you make a gauge pod to replace the ashtray for normal gauges?

Looks like a really cool set up, but I don't know about the color. Does the white fit in well with the interior?

We were going to replace the ashtray with the racingbeat set up but when i called them they said it wont fit. plus a custom one is a bitch to do.

Yea it matches the interior. White center black leather and a few carbon fiber pieces. The seats are going to br redone with black suede inserts and white sitching.

actually i think you can get the faceplate from an 09+ with Nav.

.....but since your buddy can do a custom install then why not. looks real nice. props.

what did you do about the stock radio being tied into the HVAC circuits?

alz0rz when it come to radio installs its like apple to oranges to me. so if your asking about the lcd diplay on top time works but he has to reconect a bose mazda radio to set the time. How he did it no clue. Thanks for the props

the 09+'s are not like ours. they are completely separate now.
