I don't know much about car audio, but I've been told that this item didn't exist for the RX-8. Is this worth buying and having installed?

FIY: search is a very powerful function. Try it & you will like it.

Do NOT buy the metra kit from auto toys.

They sent me a scratched faceplate with the axxess box missing and refuse to fix the mistake, and I am not the only one who has had problems with them and missing parts.

Thankfully the lead developer of the box saw my post here and is sending me one of the early developer units as a replacement. I couldn't be happier with Metra. :)

The kit itself is good, just get it from somewhere else!
