I have one on my '04 Red 8 and have gotten lots of compliments. I'm starting to change my mind about mine and try a new look when I start the Carbon Fiber takeover.

would you be willing to sell yours, what color is the wing

in the movie it looks ok because we are talking about XMEN ;p but in reality, i think is not that nice.

Everyone in the forums talks smack about them from the pictures and give the "holier than thou" attitude. I got one anyway and get nothing but compliments, even from forum members that used to talk crap about it. So just get what you like man. It looks spectacular on my yellow 8

See that's the thing with the forums. People don't have to try to be nice like they would in person. Those compliments you think you are getting are just people being polite enough to not lie to your face.

there's a fine line between the internet and whats real. sadly it doesnt apply to most people. lol

some might be that way but there's also the fact that things do look different in person. take for instance, the veilside kit. i really don't care for the look of it in pictures and on the forum but saw chrism's 8 when he was up in CT meeting clavius and it looked a lot different in person. i still wouldn't get one myself but it certainly looked different than what i've seen on the boards and i can at least appreciate his for what it is.

thanks ct....most people dont get it when they see it in pics...i seen gambits up close and personal and i thought it looked pretty damn good in person.....but then again i got a veilside kit so what do i know?!!

I'm sure it's not people just being nice to my face, because they then turned to harp on my about other things. So that excuse is null and void, it looks better in person, I've yet to hear someone say otherwise.

or it's because people like to trash others on the internet to act like they're tough guys
