Window Tinting. Is it possible to apply in pieces?

Before I continue: Yes, I know the law in Pennsylvania says all non-factory tint is illegal.

I don't know much about cars, and car modifications. However I've been quite fasinated for making a car that's a work of art that's driveable for everyday use.

Part of what I would like to do involves window tinting. Cutting the window tint into pieces and applying them at different locations on the window. Basicly.

I have a couple of questions revolving around this:
1. Is it possible to cut through Window tint into delicate designs? Flowers, stick figures, lines, etc.
2. How would I apply small pieces of window tint to an attached door?
3. Are there any clear window tape, or methods that would layer ontop of window tint, and be strong enough to hold the pieces in place
4. While rolling down windows, will the dual layer window tint cause problems?
5. Is it possible to paint on window tint, and make the tint stay painted? If so, what type of paint?

6. Is it even possible to apply window paint myself? I've read a lot of posts and all of them mention having it done in a garage of one manor or the other.

Thank you for your responses. I have done searches for Window Tint, but no questions focused on what I needed to know. I figure since the RX8 would be the car I wanted to experiement with, you would know how the car acts.

i've seen some two tone paint jobs, mostly just flames, and mostly on trucks. But at least you know its possible and have been done, it sounds like its going to be expensive though.

i'd say your best bet would be to apply whatever design you want onto the window and then put a full one-piece tint overtop of it. that way you still have your design but you're not dealing with a lot of pieces of tint.

will 2 layers of tint become problematic for the rear windows of the RX8?

I'm assuming those windows roll down, I haven't been able to find pictures of the back, interior door panels yet.

not sure what you mean. the rear windows flip out but do not roll down.

if the windows rolled down and had a couple layers, I was worried they'd get caught and unstick inside the panel causing the window to become stuck and not work.

Can you show me what you mean by the windows 'flip out'?

i don't have pictures offhand that show it flipped out but here's what i have:
