Hey just wondering what you think the coolest spoiler is for the Rx-8. I have an x wing that came on it. I'm going to build a new spoiler the shape I want

 

If your going to build it yourself, you don't need to limit it to what's available. Use your imagination.
Just don't do it out of plywood.

This one looks pretty "cool"... AND you can build it yourself... AND it doesn't rice out your car permanently.

If you want something cheap the looks ok, ~2006 Pontiac GTO rear wing available from numerous sources.

If you want to build it yourself, uh, not likely.

Ings spoiler. I get compliments all the time

 

I will be using the smooth shapes of the car. I don't really want to go really high. I'd prefer avoiding my car looking like a shopping cart. I will build the wing out of a foam then fiberglass or use carbon fiber. Smooth it and paint it to match.

 

if you know what you are doing..... try to replicate the Varis lip spoiler, except make it slightly more aggressive.

if you dont know what you are doing, then just buy a GTO spoiler from ebay.

if it is a learning experience, then make sure you make 37 versions. The 37th time is usually the best.

 

I think the stock wing isn't too bad... I have it. I personally like something a little sleeker and more subtle though. I love the Racing Beat spoiler and finally ordered one last monday. The next day I got an email from Mike Liao sayin they were out of stock and would be 3-4 weeks on backorder.

but seriously... not a fan of spoilers on rx8's but if I had to pick one would be a gt wing.
