What does this look like?
 

Hey can anyone help me find, or are skilled enough with photoshop to show me what a Black 04' rx8 would look like if the grill, and all the vents, exhaust things (never know what those are called, the rotary looking thing the exhaust comes out of) were painted like a red color. Not sure the shade of red yet. But it looks sick in my head.

Well I can't know until I see one. I'm thinking like a dark red. But I can't get the full picture.

the only way i could see it looking ok and not like complete ass is if you did a lot of red accents and red rims not just those few simple things. They would look out of place for sure

If you wanna go that route i suggest you jsut doing your mirrors, side vents, fuel door, and bottom plastic part of the rear bumper. Then get yourself some gunmetal or black rims with red lip. That would look sweet in my opinion.

there are some paint companies that manufacture a "colour changer" type of paint, from cherry/black cherry/black would look great, but on aftermarket trim with the stock items. just plain red pieces would look like the failboats I see in the county that do the same with red on white cars and yellow/blue on black cars.
I'd try flat black first, if it flows, get some other parts and do it up with colour.
...and that's my honest opinion.

Wow THIS helped the most. The color I was thinking was a bit darker. But it gave me an idea. :) I don't like it. probably looks better with the colors swapped around

Those are the parts i had in mind already, more of a dark cherry color. But even looking at that ebay one in a brighter color it just doesn't work.
