Thoughts: MS rear bumper with Chargespeed Bottom Line sideskirts and front lip?
I'm planning to add the Mazdaspeed rear bumper this Fall/Winter, however, I'm not a huge fan of the low sideskirts and front bumper on the MS kit (the reduced front ground clearance on the MS front bumper would also be an issue on my steep driveway).
I'm looking for something a little more "subtle", and I really like the Chargespeed Bottom Line front lip and sideskirts in FRP (should be a good match to the black plastic on the MS rear bumper).
MS rear (snagged this pic from JantzenRX-8, thanks!):
Chargespeed front lip and side skirts (note: I'll be getting FRP and not C/F):
Thoughts?

This below pic is blurry and was taken at night, but the guy just installed his MS rear, but hadn't installed the MS sideskirts yet. Even though it's blurry, you can kinda see that the MS rear ends almost along the same level as the stock sides.
My *hunch* is that the Chargespeed lip kit would line up almost perfectly with the MS rear.
Btw, for a little more clarity - I'm definitely going with the MS rear on my car. Fluid Motorsports is now selling these parts and I know Brice will get me one at a good price. The question is whether I should leave the front and sides stock, or add the Chargespeed lip.

It's not the height in profile, but the fact that the MS flares out from the car and the ChargeSpeed sides would be attached under the stock body which curves in at the bottom (I guess the MS doesn't really "flare out", but it basically drops straight down as opposed to the curve under of the stock body). It might look OK and line up in direct profile, but as soon as you started looking at it from an angle the back would look bulkier because it flares out/drops straight down.
Compare the sides in your sig to those of topgear8's in his sig to see the difference in how the sides flare out. Then notice that pic of the yellow MS kitted 8 from the rear and notice how the MS rear flares to match the sides.

^ Thanks. I do see what you're saying Aipex8.
I did think about doing the full Chargespeed lip kit in FRP, but the rear aero flares just make no sense?

^ I had emailed Chargespeed about the FRP version a long time ago.. and it is supposedly in a white gel coating (no weave).. it looks bad by itself and will need to be painted over to the desired color they told me.

Aargh! Looks like gundarx is correct. The STi owner had his FRP lip kit painted semi-matte black by a local shop.
My thought now is to scrap this hybrid idea and just do the full Chargespeed kit in FRP and have a local body shop just paint the pieces semi-matte black. I'll still haven't seen anyone on this forum with the Chargespeed kit, so it'll be pretty unique. It also wouldn't reduce my ground clearance by as much as the MS body kit, which is another plus for me.

Ha ha. It was gundarx: https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/gundarxs-new-kit-177245/
Looks nice in c/f, but I'm not sure if it's worth paying double the price of FRP.
