Try not to post multiple messages asking the same thing, go find your other post it has the pertinent info you need.

Don't be rude....

It is H11... I am not sure what you call it in the US..

People said use 80?? W rather than 100-110 W as it will be too hot.

I want to change mine too but I can't find any superwhite in Oz. Apparently there are some in this club site. I forgot the link but you may have to search...

I'm not being rude, he posted in multiple spots, I answered his question in his first post.

From what I hear the wattage is 55. A search using "upgrade fog light bulbs" will give you those answers... It seems taking a couple minutes to do a search can answer a lot of questions. I think reminding new members about the search button will cut down on these continuous rehash of questions..

SORRY GUYS, WONT DO MULTIPLES AGAIN. I WAS JUST A WORK TODAY AND WANTED TO MAYBE CHANGE THEM OUT TONIGHT. DIDNT HAVE MUCH TIME TO DO A SEARCH. THANKS A BUNCH.

How would you get to the fogs? would you get through the flap from the front steering wheel? or under the bumpers?

Krazed_Rx8 08-06-2010 06:08 AM

6 year bump.. impressive. I think it'd be easier to remove ur front bumper and then swap out the bulbs.

I just did this job and I went through the wheel well. Jack up the car, take off the wheel, remove liner in front (same liner that has to be moved for the clear corners), long reach to the fog lights.

I've read some can do this from underneath without jacking up the car but that seems kinda tough if you dont know what you are really feeling for.

I also read that it may not be necessary to remove the wheel. But I had no luck with that...my hands and arms are too large to move through those tight spaces.

Krazed_Rx8 08-06-2010 09:46 AM

Removing the bumper only takes like 10 mins.. I think its the easiest method

Deadlion09 09-08-2010 11:21 PM

it does not take 10 min.. just go through the wheel well and jacking the car up would help

Took me 9 minutes and I was on drugs at an orgy party. When you really want to change your fog lights you will find the strength.

3 screws on either side, pull the plastic undertray down and reach up and swap. No bumper removal, wheel removal or jacking up required (and my car is even lowered). I can change a fog bulb in probably 3 minutes.

Sort of just signed up so excuse me for making any mistakes! but since you guys say the fog lights are H11's, how many watts should i be looking at getting? and opinions, if they should be a nice yellow or white? what colour do most people here prefer?

also, how can i get a image below my text? like not a thumb nail! thanks lol

omg that was a whole lot harder than it needed to be... the driver side was cake but the passenger side was a pain. the bulb had to turn right into the mini radiator that right next to the light. no room to work, hard as hell to turn. I eventually had to get a strap behind the fog light housing, wrap it around the connector for the bulb and pull. woops, broke the bulb off inside the housing.. #&$@!!!!! used a piece of tape to get that out. driver side = 1 minute, passenger side = 1 hour.

I bet you turned it the wrong way. I just did the under the bumper method and it took 8 minutes for both sides. So much easier than working inside the fender well.

Hey I was wondering what type of bulbs would I use to get some newer and brighter fog lights on my 04 GT? I feel kind of stupid asking this so don't troll me to bad
