You are correct about the bulb types. I replaced my fogs with these "HID-look" H11's:

...and my side marker bulbs (corners) and parking lights with Polarg hyperwhite 194's from a local speed shop.

They all have the same color temperature/look as my HID's and look great, but no pics at night yet. Here are some threads with replacement info...

One advice when installing fog bulbs.

DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB! :D

Expensive mistake. I want to go for PIAA - anyone know if you like it?

Use a clean paper towel or napkin when installing. It's the oil on your skin that leaves a smudge on the bulbs that is the problem. When you turn the lights on they heat up quite a bit and will explode if there is any oil on the glass surface. Make sure you clean the bulb off real good before you attempt the install and handle it with the paper towel through the installation.

Good advice... I personally used my leather gloves when I installed them

Something even easier... wear a disposable gloves.

There is some thin latex gloves that you can buy from the local garden or handy shop like the Bunnings and throw them away when finish.

I just use the powdered latex ones from my hospital lab.

EDIT: if you have touch the bulb my mistake, use an alcohol swab to clean it and wait 2 minute before trying again.

The fog light should be just medial to the oil cooler, so I guess it is not hard to do it blind.

There is a complete bulb list here, and even stickied, in the Exterior Appearance forum.
