I NEED one of those!! There is no doubt in my mind this will give me another 16WHP!

XDEEDUBBX 02-13-2006 03:49 PM

with that installed you can probably get about 2-3 feet of air, depending if the wing is in the up position, all you need now are rudders!

WATCHER 02-13-2006 04:42 PM

NgoRX8 02-13-2006 04:51 PM

Why do you need a rear spoiler?

* To balance the wind force that is being exerted on your car at high speeds

* To reduce “air drag” therefore increasing velocity

* To add “down force” on your car’s back end when turning and cornering

* To save gas when just cruising by decreasing the drag coefficient

* To impress the ladies and turn heads

What type of rear spoiler do you need ?

* ALUMINUM Series

o Single Deck - for the budget conscious motor enthusiast who wants everyday driving performance and gas saving advantage.

Available model: the Screamer.

o Double Deck - for increased wind force and balance with fine tuning capability of the smaller second wing .

Available model: the Screamer DD.

OH MAN!! THE DOUBLE STINGER! So when I'm cruisin' down the boulevard and someone tries to front ... whip out the stinger and POW! Like a scorpion tail! In yo' face sucka!

Okay I know the wings are shown going up and down just to illustrate the point that they are adjustable.

...But can you adjust the speed of the wing, and then have it loop over and over? Just think, you could be cruising down the road and your wing would be DANCING to the beat. DANCING! Maybe there's even a device that could detect the beats per minute of what you're listening to. Or maybe they could add articulation in the left/right axis, so it's not just bobbing but SWAYING side to side as well!

Holy crap I better file a patent application before this gets out. Nobody better steal my ideas okay?

DrDiaboloco 02-15-2006 11:44 AM

My question is this...

How many hp are in the motor for the wing?

And can you add that hp to your wheel horsepower?

I guess the same question has to go for the canards. Somehow, those canards bother me more than the wings do.

theboy 02-15-2006 06:49 PM

Seriously i think these are just bling bling items for the bling bling factors

hoosteen 02-15-2006 08:09 PM

the spoilers themselves... don't look so bad... especially for the RX-8.

It can be done tastefully, IMO..

The remote control aspect though... is a tad much.
