Removing Mazda emblem off front & rear

Hi there am new to the forum and apologise if this question has been answered somewhere.

Has anyone taken off the badges on an 8? Don't really like the look of them at all and so was wondering if they are pressed on with tape or do they leave holes once removed? Your help would be appreciated.

Seems like I have a lot of reading to do on this forum.

Had the 8 for a week and still lovin' it. Can't believe it's mine for one.....and some guys can't believe it's mine either!!

Thanks a million. :wavey:

Yeh, My cars still at panel shop as we speak. Basically the holes had to be welded and whole boot/trunk needs to be repainted, also whole rear IF the color dont match. Cars been patched up/welded now, on monday car will be painted.. cost of it is pretty shocking considering u'd think its just a few badges to be removed, but i took the plunge anywayz....... hehehehe

Newbie hey......... welcome to our side here ;)

Thanks for that :) I have surfed over to this forum cause it seems to be more active and the guys on the other forum..seem to be getting cranky over number plates being shown on pictures!!

I bought my 8 eight days ago and am amazed that it's mine! I ended up getting silver after agonising for days over which colour....ended up getting a demo model....so decision was made for me.

My next change to the car will be window tinting....had a blue tooth kit installed on Friday and it works really well.

Been reading the posts about flooding cause it scares the crap out of me!! So far haven't had too many worries.....although taking it to my favourite car wash caused me some angst as I thought they might flood it there...not realising that it will happen mostly when the car is cold.....that's what being a newbie will do to a gal!

Good luck with getting your car back I reckon it will look fantastic....why would Mazda put such big badges on them???

Cheers for now.
