It looks like a series II without the hideous headlights -- which is a huge plus in my book.

RE Amemiya got a lot of things going on at the moment, they are working on atleast 6-7 cars right now that need to be finished, just in time for Tokyo Auto Salon 2010.. Which is coming in less than 2 weeks, January 15, 16, 17 (Fri. – Sat. – Sun) 2010. So, when the time comes, everyone will see the finished product.

I must have funny taste because IMO it looks just as ugly as all their other wannabe boy racer kits :dunno: those canard type fins are really dumb :rolleyes:

I still say the Fabulous kit is the best looking for the RX-8, nice smooth lines, but I already know that the OP thinks it's lame .....

RE Amemiya has yet to impress me with anything for the 8. I want an AD-GT kit for the 8 now!

The RE-Amemiya kit looks nice, but my favorite clean RX-8 kit is still the INGS+1 kit. Their demo car in the custom blue on concave white TE37s, MMMMM!!!

I feel as if the canards are too similar to the lower lip, making it look too busy.

either way, though, glad to see new products being rolled out for our V1's

i don't like the double chin... the R3 nose looks more streamlined...

Couple of other things that RE Amemiya has been working on.. A new side mirror, that's not excessively/drastically different than the oem side mirror. But however it is 10 millimeters higher, so it makes it easier to see.. Also, a new hood and side skirts are finished. Just remember guys, all these new things could be a up-coming prodution items, or they're only custom stuff for their project cars. My bet is that all these things will definitely become into production as soon as they're displayed off at the TAS 2010.

i thought the op had the wrong info. i thought it was a kit for the series II. but if its for the series I i dont really like it. it does look like the R3. but at least they are still working on new kits and not forgeting about the old 8s
