Racing Beat new Bodykit
I don’t no if this has been shown but i did do a search,
It’s the new kit from Racing Beat, im loving the side and back as it not too mad and still keeps it simple, And those wheels i think ill have to getting my self a set!! :D http://www.racingbeat.com/RX8_kit/RX8%20Kit.1.jpg http://www.racingbeat.com/RX8_kit/RX8%20Kit.2.jpg http://www.racingbeat.com/RX8_kit/RX8%20Kit.3.jpg http://www.racingbeat.com/RX8_kit/RX8%20Kit.4.jpg |
I've yet to see it in black....
Looks good |
That was unveiled at Sevenstock over a month ago.... not really my cup of tea, but to each their own I suppose.
|
I like the sides.
|
front looks like the older MR2... its aight.
|
i dont like it
|
They did a pretty nice job on the Mk1 MX-5, can't really say that about the 8 thou...:(
Love those RacingHarts.... hope to get them soon... |
I like the sides and rear pieces. That front bumper though... is not a modern looking design.
They should come out with a lip spoiler of so me sort.... |
the kit is not so great IMO
I guess i expected more from them when I saw it at ss7 |
nice try, but no cigar. too subtle IMO. would rather have the stock look
|
i don't expect anything from racing beat... The company is a lot of hype and others that speak so highly about them on this forum are a bunch of leg humpers....not saying that their products are bad but just a lot of hype...it seems that their motto for their products is "just a small step above stock" hahha
|
Not that their kit has anything to do with their other parts, but...
They research and test every performance part they make, which is a lot more than I can say for other more well-known "performance" part makers who make RX-8 parts that, while they make your car louder, do nothing for power (except maybe reduce it). Since RB is specialized in rotaries, which is something you won't find with other well-known "performance" part makers that (happen to) make RX-8 parts, they have a leg up. So, if knowing-what-you-are-talking-about is hype, then, yeah, they are all hype. That said, I'm not fond of the kit, as I've said before. |

I'm guessing you are new to Mazdas. Racing Beat has been around for a long time and been making quality products ever since. I've been to their facility, I was very impressed with their setup. They do more testing and R&D work than I ever imagined. There's not another Mazda parts manufacture to their scale in this country (that I have ever seen or heard of). Racing Beat is a quality company lives up to their hype. They are a well respected establishment in the Mazda world. Mazda even uses them for factory tuning. The Protege MP3 for example... |
Hype is exactly the wrong word for Racing Beat. They're not the guys claiming 10hp from a catback for the RX-8. Just because some other companies do, I wouldn't be so sure that their exhaust makes more power than the Racing Beat.

Me , too. Racing beat has always in my opinion produced conservative front ends. You can see that in their fd and fc parts. Love the sides and rear. Just put with ms front or r magic. |
I like the spoiler. Nice and simple.

RB is not trying to reinvent the wheel, just enhance what Mazda has already done. Never intended for everyone, but quality is definitely same as oem.
If you do not like, do not buy. |
ms front bumper and racing beat side skirt, is it a good combo?
|
The problem with using any other front end with the RB sideskirts are the height difference. The RB kit is the same height as stock.

RB doesn't make B.S. claims about an exhaust adding 25 horsepower to the RX-8 like some companies might. How is being honest "a lot of hype" as you put it? Although I don't care for their body kit, I respect their products and their integrity. |
man you don't even know what im talking about..if you havent read other threads about their products before then you would know what point im trying to get at...its not about hp claims or anything like that...just tired of hearing everyone praise about their products when in the end they are no better than other ones out there...RB this RB that...

Like has been said before not keen on the front bumper but the rest of the kit has alot of potential to be matched up with something else
