Questions on De-badging my car. need some help
hey guys im planning on de-badging my car soon and i wanna take my RX-8 and my MAZDA emblem but i dont know if i can take those off. i heard somewhere that the mazda one is held on by screws so if i take it off ill have holes on the trunk. anyone know if this is true or have any input? any help is appreciated. :)

The front bumper insignia is put on with an adhesive. It has two holes in the front bumper for alignment. The rear "Mazda" (word) is also held on with adhesive, no holes. The Mazda emblem on the trunk is on the same way as the front, with two holes. The RX8 emblem (3 pieces) is held on with adhesive only.

the "mazda" badge has three holes, the flying "M" has two holes, and the "rx8" is held on with double sided tape. so only the rx8 will come off without holes behind it
quick search came up with this EDIT: This is what I found from search...Easy E1 says differently, and I would probably go with what he says |
okay thanks guys cuz i wanna take off both the MAZDA and the RX-8 emblems in the back but i didnt know if the mazda one had any holes. i knew the rx-8 one didnt. so you sure they both can be taken off without holes?

100% sure:
RX-8 emblem: NO HOLES...ONLY ADHESIVE Mazda word emblem: 3 LARGE HOLES...NO ADHESIVE Flying "M" emblem: 2 SMALL HOLES...AND ADHESIVE |
flying M badges leave holes. as does the mazda emblem.
The RX-8 emblem (the only one you'd want to leave on the car) can be removed without leaving holes. |
everything has holes except RX8. So i have holes in my front bumper, but Im filling them next month to properly finish the 'debadge'

vndr09 has it right. my front bumper and trunk lid are debadged as well.
