Question about rain and carbon fiber hood with vents. Seibon TS

Hey guys,
just had a quick question about carbon fiber hoods and rain, more specifically, the Seibon TS model hood with the 6 open vents. I called seibon and they said that rain actually does get under the stock oem hood and that in general rain gets under all hoods. Just wandering, would i have to remove the hood when there is any type of rain or could i just leave it on. The vents seem large and it would seem easy for rain to get inside the engine bay. If anyone owns the hood and has their own input regarding this i would appreciate it. i am just wandering, i apologize for the question, if it was asked numerous times. i havent added anything to my 8 in a while and i feel like this would be a great addition. Thank you so much for any help guys.

i have this hood and it came with trays under the vents to keep water out. they are easily removable with a couple of screws. i took the trays off and have not had any trouble but i try not to drive the 8 in crappy weather as its not my dd
