Question about MS rear diffuser

Does anyone know if the rear splash guards are compatible with the MS rear diffuser? I am getting the front and rear splash guards and the side aero flares and I am interested in the rear diffuser. If the two ar not compatible, I would be afraid that it would look uneven with only the front splash guards. Rosenthal said that they were told that they were not compatible, but I wanted to find out if anyone has any first hand knowledge about it. Thanks

The Mazdaspeed rear diffuser comes with new splash gaurds.. its all one peice.
I had to remove my OEM Appearance Package Rear Splash Gaurds before installing the MS Rear. This pic shows the way it'll look with the MS kit.

Thanks for the info. So if I did decide to go with the MS rear and I put the front splash guards on, do you think the bottom of the front splash guards would be at about the same height as the MS rear, so that it wouldn't have an uneven look?

Big, did you install the rear lip yourself? I have heard ppl saying that you will need to cut the bottom portion of the rear bumper in order to install the MS rear, is it true.

I know the 2 exhaust trim could be removed without cutting, how about the center portion?

I did it with the Gulf Forum at our install meet.
Do you have to do some cutting? Oh hell yes.. get ready to bust out the saw....

LOL! its actually not really that hard at all. The plastic cuts easily and once you get the lines drawn... its pretty simple.

I'm not sure. I imagine it maybe lower as the MS Rear sits even with the MS side skirt, and the MS Side skirt sits SLIGHTLY lower than the OEM front splash gaurds.

Honestly.. i would just go with the Full MS Kit. There are some good replica kits out there that look solid, and aren't that pricey. I didn't go replica, but I would not recommend against it.

But after you pay for prep, paint, and install, isn't it just about as expensive as the real thing? I just don't want to spend that kind of money, and I don't want to be restricted to where I can drive, and how fast I can drive (I've read that the MS front scrapes very easily). Honestly, if I got an aftermarket font, it would have to be the Tsunami. I really like the intake opening on the S2000 and the Tsunami resembles it closest. I am just trying to find a way to comply with side marker requirements since it does not accomodate them.
