Pre-painted rear bumpers?

I know you can get the mazdaspeed rear delivered painted, but is there anyplace that offers the stock bodywork painted?
I sort of modified by rear bumper last night when it got caught on a trailer hitch for a boat. Didn't see it when parallell parking, it was dark and the damn thing was on the ground. Most cars probably would have cleared it cleanly. Car went over the hitch, caught and ripped off the black plastic at the bottom, one of the surrounds and nearly pulled out the other. Almost pulled the whole thing off, theres a great looking gap between the bumper and rear fender now... all the black plastic is gone now, picked it up and put it in the trunk.

ouch, that sucks man, know how you sorta feel. anyways, talk to your dealership for a stock bumper, im sure you know you have to replace the whole bumper because of the damage to that stupid black plastic that is connected to the bumper. I would say go aftermarket, you're gonna be paying a lot for a stock replacement and paint.

Figured as much, I was just hoping that maybe some dealer had taken to selling the stockers painted and ready to roll. Didn't realize that the black was attached to the painted in the middle at first actually, it broke off really cleanly.
I'd go for the Mazdaspeed kit, but I'm trying to save money to buy a house now... can't really justify it. I figure I'll price the replacement, and if (when) it goes over $500, I'll just turn it over to insurance. Luckily no metal got damaged, and the majority of the bumper is still attached securly so I can still drive it. Just looks ghetto-fabulous. Was a good laugh at my expense at work today, this is the second time I've slightly damaged the car at this same place, last time I got a little curb rash on the front passenger wheel. :wallbash:

ghetto fabulous is awesome! Anyways, i would say if its over $500, the MS rear would be a better choice. if all the damage is just on the black diffuser, the MS rear actually replaces the rear diffuser and would require cutting the diffuser off. If its really clean cut, just get that rear diffuser IMO.

That's an interesting option; it literally looks like I just cut off the black plastic right now. I need to check and make sure none of the mounting points were damaged as well... 4th car I've owned, guess I was due an accident sooner or later.
Quick picture of the current state...

Had damage to my rear diffuser and they had to replace the whole bumper because its one piece. Double check and look if any of the mountings are damaged, if they are, you mgiht have to get the whole bumper replaced, if not, go for the MS, looks clean and simple.
