pics of stealth and red marker lights wanted.

Does anyone have pics of the clear or red marker lights/corners on a VR? I have clears on right now, but need to replace one. Not sure which route to go. I understand having the stealths would mean I should have stealth headlights fogs and tails as well, which I'm not against. Just looking for some pics and maybe a few opinions.

i had the mazda clear corners on my whitewater pearl but i recently picked up the clear/white side markers from rotaryfx. They arent an exact match but close enough with the clear overlay not to really stand out. I have the v-leds amber flank bulbs installed. I'll get pics here in a min. I think the red ones would be a good look on your whip, I used to have a velocity red w/ the mazda clear corners before I traded it in for my whitewater pearl and either way they both look better than the stock amber markers.:yumyum:

hm, interesting. I'm leaning towards getting the "stealth" ones, then tinting the headlights and tails, then throwing some cf parts on. (hood, strakes, vents, maybe fuel door) Should contrast well I think.

yea I was considering the stealth ones but I really didnt wanna dampen the brightness of my existing lights, deal with the films or with nitpicky laws in illinois.

The stealth markers are clear on the front and black behind, so no tint. Not a VR but you get the idea.

The outside is clear, but the inside housing/reflector is tinted? Interesting. I wish websites would make that kind of info more clear, or post better pictures of them. I swear I could make a living off taking pics and posting descriptions of stuff off the net.

...or you could just tint them out. Costs like 6bucks.

Well I have to replace one of my marker lights, so if I wanted a tinted marker, I would rather buy it tinted, than tint it myself.

Don't buy the RotaryFX side markers! They are very cheaply made and unless YOU seal them they will take on moisture. In mine if you look close you can even see a run from the glue they used to slap the clear part to the black backing. My gf bought me them last Christmas and now since the weather is warm and I have had my car out and regularly washing it they took on moisture and there is no way to take them apart to clean the water spotting out without breaking them. For $60 this is a poor product!

that clear run by the corner is the glue run on the inside that can't be removed. It's also along the bottom but you can barely see it.

Probably made in China and sold at Wal-Mart

wish i saw this before i bought them..lol
received and installed, 3 days later i had moisture... they say its because of my lightbulb seal, i call BS.

they recommended taking it apart (because thats easy) and resealing it yourself.
funning thing is, i paid extra for THEM to do it...so why the f do i have to do it again?
