Painting the roof black - paint the rain gutters too?
 

When painting the roof black (on a WWP) do you think it's best to paint the rain gutters too?

BTW How do you think a WWP with gold wheels would look with a black roof? Too many colors at play?

Oh and does anyone have any estimated costs? I'm getting quotes from $700 - $175, what gives with the spread?

Why paint it? First go to a vinyl shop and get a piece of black to fit the part of the roof you want to change. If you decide you don't like it, you haven't done anything that is permanent. Most of the vinyl that is used on cars is good for 5 to 7 years.

+1 i used vinyls precut from bluebatmobile.net and they have the precuts for under 100 bucks its easy to install and its been on my car for about a year no problem!

How do you want the 2 tone to look? Black just down the center of the roof? Or the entire roof, A pillars, top of the doors and around the windows?

FWIW I think vinyl overlays only do the center of the roof. So if that is what you are after then that would be my choice.

If you are going for the entire then you should paint the rain gutters.
