im sure this is a common thread but im not sure. i heard the best type of oil is 5w-20. the dealership told me dont use synthetic but i have heard u can use it. which is better and also what brand is best. also if i can use synthetic can i mix it with the other oil i have or do i need to drain it??

 

it isnt' the best type of oil to use it is the only oil you are supposed to use in your car is 5w-20.. (ase 30 i think)says so on the gas cap and in the owners manuel.

i fyou want to switch to synthetic or want to knwo what the deal is with synthetic oil do a search there are about a million threads on it. i personaly didn't drain it...wasnt' really a point. i use royal purple 5w-20 (full synthetic)
