OEM brushed aluminum gas door

Do you think the OEM option for the aluminum gas door enhances the sporty look, or is it tacky? IMO, I like the way it looks and I was thinking about getting it.

Then that should be enough for you to get it. It's your car.

Do you mean the one that's sold in the US or the JDM version? Big difference IMO.

These are pics of the US version (albeit the chrome, you get the idea). Here is a pic of the satin one, for comparison.
This is how the JDM version looks like.
The big difference (apart from the looks) is that the US version has a black plastic hinge... which is sort of flimsy IMO. Besides, the JDM one looks much better, but it costs a lot more too, unfortunately.

I voted tacky. But mainly because they remind me of an Eclipse.

I replaced my OEM chrome one with stock. Being LY the paint is a hair off but impossible to tell from a distance. I just thought it looked BLING. If I planned on getting 20'' chromes I would have kept it. But I'm going for black rims because yellow/black < yellow/chrome.

Personally I think all those doors are tacky. To me, it's sort of the epitome of ricer, trying to look like a race car with a cheap non-functional imitation. If you like, more power to you, it's your car. But I think they're goofy.
