But it is VERY well thought out. This is the only kit that addresses the fact that the stock intake needs scoops in the NOSE not the hood. The '8 technically already has a CAI, as the intake comes into the front bumper. This takes it a step further, allowing fresh air to be sucked directly into the intake instead of pulling what air it can get that comes in from the front grill.

There are some other flow considerations that were apparently addressed; however, I don't know much about airflow through the fender area to know if it is true or just speculation. A diagram was posted on an older thread of how airflow was designed with this kit.

It's not a very pretty kit, but it is functional.

I glad you clear that up rotor. in the 8th thread. Most of us know this is aimed to be the most efficient front dam for air flow. GO to the odula website and they have a pic of all the air flowing in. I think I have post a pic of that in this forum. Do a search

I thought it had holes that fog lights were stuck into?

Outlaws eXtreme 09-07-2004 03:00 AM

wait... even better question, when did you become a Moderator here? :P First Kari, now you... so many.

IZoomZoomI 09-07-2004 04:53 AM

acosta racing had a modified version of the ms front bumper allowing more airflow to the air box. I was thinking of a similar approach myself.

Oops didn't see this post. Some had one on sale on ebay, but that was a long time ago. You can do it yourself or have a body shop do it for you it shouldn't be too har.
