Those aren't KEI Eyelids or replica of any kind.
I would assume since no one has seen them before they are a custom made piece. We do not sell that piece referenced in that photo. I know what he wants arent KEI, i siad he should look into them but he doesnt like them :dunno: |

I must say that the tape is one of the funnier things I have seen on the forum haha. Very Nice! If my car werent a VR I would be on my way to Home Depot right now! So... Here is a sweet pic.

The s15 headlights were the first things i thought of! I think whatever front bumper you have with these eyelids plays a HUGE role in what the final product ends up looking like...
|
I would suggest make your own, out of vinyl like a few others have said or any type of 2 part epoxie that is maliable, Ive made several designs from the later.

^let me know~
|
you definately do not need to cut up the headlights to make molds for eyelids
|
Rev - if u can make a pair out of duck tape ill take a pair for my sunlight silver 8:yelrotflm
|
electrical tape comes in quite a few different colors.
|
someone should photoshop some s15 lights on it.
|
These are made from a sheet of plastic, its like 50 pages back in the Super autobacs thread in multimedia.
If you wanted to get fancy, you can put aluminum foil over the lights and lay wet fiberglass right on them. just watch for dripping liquids that flow out before hardening. |
LoL Rev
I was thinking the same thing, then I saw your post. |
How much do you guys think it would cost to have a body shop make something like this? It's a very basic little piece so I wouldn't imagine it being much, but I want to get an idea before I go ask the guys in my area.
I'm really digging these eyelids. I dunno why. I'm really tired of looking at all of the R-Magic and Kei Offices; they all look the same (No offense to owners of these lids, they look great but they're pretty much the only eyelids out there). These are a nice, very aggressive alternative that would look fantastic with the right front end. |

Bump!
Can we find some more pictures? They look interesting! |
Here are some on Ebay
ebay eyelids |
Try using electrical tape (the big ones) for eyelids. There are different colors to choose from. If you can't afford the real eyelids, this is it...not joking ;)
Cut them to your preference. I have a friend that did it before on his 92 Nissan 240sx...on the rear lights, he made 2 round ones on each light, looks cool. I never tried it on mine...thought you guys might ask :) |
