Need Some advice, please help

Ok, last night, some piece of s*&t rear ended me and took off, i attempted to follow after him, but was unable to find him, at fist the damage didnt look too bad, my bumber had been pushed out by the wheel, which i was able to push back in, and the inner fender well was detached, which i was also able to push back into place, my rb exhaust seemed to be ok, this morning when i woke up to inspect the damage i found the that lower part of the bumper where the exhaust comes out is all cracked, my first reaction was i'll get a price on that piece ($60.00) and just replace it. there also seemed to be a little scuff on the rear bumper that i figured i could just buff out. so just as i'm about to go to the mazda dealership to order the piece i look at the bumper again and realize that the scuff is actually an indent into the bumber about a foot long. now here's my issue if i get it fixed the guys gonna probably have to repaint the bumper, and i figure he can also get some of the dings out from my little sister that decided it would be a good idea to use my car as a door stop. but should i spend the 60 on the piece thats cracked or should i save up the money and get a full aero kit or even just get the mazdaspeed replica kit?

First of all - bummer about the hit and run.

I guess if you had been looking or thinking of getting a kit, now would be an ideal time.

I presume the dent in the bumper would be covered by the MS rear section? If so then I'd probably go for the replica rear, get it sprayed and fitted. However, its likely that this will cost a bit more than just a respray and replacement stock part.

Then you are going to have to get the rest of the kit to even up the lines.

I imagine the rear could be done on its own without it looking too bad, all depends if you've really been thinking about a kit or not.

From what I've read be prepared to spend a lot of time on the replica kit, even quality kits need work.

Let us know what you decide.

I feel for you buddy!!

Perfect time to get the MS bodykit. Start with the rear bumper and ease yourself and your wallet in slowly.

Did you file a Police report?

no, i didn't file a police report, i've got enough cops in my family to know that i'm pretty much sol if i didn't get the license plate, but thanks for the advice about getting it piece by piece that was one thought that never actually crossed my mind i might actually do that
