That really sucks, Titanium. Sorry to hear....
It really is depressing to hear such horror stories. I don't think I would have purchased this had I heard these stories prior. It seems I've gotten 1 good kit in comparison to 1 shitty, & 1 smashed by the shipper kit. I really wouldn't like those odds.... Sorry, guys, I wasn't able to get any pics taken. I'll try to get to them in the next couple of days, school is startin', though, so it may be a few days. ---Landon |

I think it's really bad business practice to not be consistent and they should give quality service and products. It only takes one bad seed to ruin the whole crop -- i'm sure some members of this forum also belong to other clubs where they can give a "heads up" on their experience with them, positively or NEGATIVELY. Amen brother! |

Originally posted by Landon_Starr That'd be awesome if someone could manage a poly-urethane MS replica. Talk about a gold mine......=) --Landon However the Aero Hybrid version they do is something that INGs have worked on themselves, its a "Hybridized fibreglass and Urethane" which they say "can overcome chipping and cracking problems" Only $120 more so went for it! |
how much was it orb?
and titgrey u have two 8's?? |

yep 2 8's
|
If ppl could afford those kits then we wouldn't be reading this thread.
whiles we waiting for updates... titgrey - damn...why would u have two? to match ur clothes? 8p |
Of course they're expensive. You get what you pay for. I'm a tad careless when in a hurry (which is too often!). So there is no way fiberglass will hold up for me. Plain and simple. If you can afford a $599 kit, plus shipping, refinishing, painting and mounting. If you just cut back for a little while (less movies, less drinking, less eating out), you can afford to upgrade to one of these other kits... that is if you really want one ;)

Landon, any updates or pics?
|
Finally I got my car back. Here is the AAS kits on my car.
|
The only problem I have is the side skirts are not fit prefectly.
|
I also painted my rear bumper blue, which IMO is better looking than 2 tone colors.
|
Final pic. I would give most of the credit to my bodyshop. They really did a great job on the paint job. Overall, I guess the quality of the kits is only OK.
|
I like it.
Imperfect,yes,but still,nice. :) So,Don,what was the total $ outlay? Are you satisfied? |
Looks good overall. And I must say I like the monochrome scheme on the rear bumper. Very nice. Too bad about the skirt fitment but it's only noticeable up close. One thing that is nice is the fact that the plastic 'bar' across the nose grill is absent. Big plus on that. Great pics!

Originally posted by Preacher I like it. Imperfect, yes, but still, nice. :) So,Don,what was the total $ outlay? Are you satisfied? I got the kit for $549 (starting bid from ebay) + $150 shipping and I got hook up for free paint job and installation. So total cost $699. Nice, rite ;) |
Ya can't beat that!
|
I agree with the above. Not 100%, but looks nice! At $699 ya can't beat it with a stick!
|
i need free paint and installation.
The greddy exhaust looks big..i like. i have a simple question....are the side skrits just stuck on or drilled? |
