Make Your Own Halos?
I found a tutorial online on making your own halos for your headlights.
http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1369308/create_custom_led_for_cars/ I was wanting to know if anyone here has tried it out, and if so what was the outcome? I'm thinking of giving it a go this weekend. If it doesn't come out right im only out like ten bucks. Just in case anyone else was interested in trying it out also. I found the rod he was using at home depot and a site that has pretty much any color LED you could want. Rod http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...9X-_-100113097 LED http://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/c...ge,5mm,18,167: I thought it was an interesting find...but it could be old..so let me know if you have any ideas or have tried it out yourself. |
Lol i was just looking at the same exact thing

The only problem im seeing there might be is that it looks like they might be a little thick. It would probably look nice at night but you dont want something that is gonna stick out during the day.

Looks okay...

I tried it out years ago, it's pretty easy to make, but I didn't really like it, it still looked cheap to me.
