installing mazda aero kit

New member and have a quick question. I just purchased a new mazda aero kit and im going install it tonight. My question is when installing the sides it requires that i drill into the side of the car, is this required or can i get away with not drilling. The same goes for the rear flares as well. Your help would be greatly appricated fellas. Thank you

you could get away with just 3m double sided tape but eventually gravity will take its toll and it will start to fall, I would just go ahead a drill the small holes to hold everything up the way its supposed to. You really wont be able to see it with the kit on

I installed my side aero flares without drilling the 4 holes in the side of the car and they are staying on fine. I did drill the one hole in the wheel well and it's clipped on from underneath. For the side I just used the double sided tape that comes with the flares, plus added a square to each of the 4 plastic tabs where the clips are supposed to slide in.

Since you don't have those holes/clips to guide you and the flares are quite flexible, make sure you test fit first and get it just how you want to stick it before pealing the tape.

what about the rear bumper flares? Does the rear bumper have to come off?

That I don't know. Mine had the rear splash guards from the factory so I just left those. Someday I'll get the rear aero flares if I don't do some other type of kit.

rear bumber does not have to be removed to install the flares
