installing fog lights after front bumper is put on...
ok first off im an idiot, i know the mazdaspeed aftermarket bumpers need a specific bracket for installing the oem fog lights. But i was to damn lazy for the past 2 weeks to order them, and now its a little late since my body shop is booked for the 19th.
Is there a way that i can get the body shop to install the oem lights on to the aftermarket bumper? or is it difficult to install the fogs after the bumper is installed? i would assume it would be a big pain in the ass trying to put it on afterwards :( any suggestions guys? |
good question
cuz i need to know too |
just take the bumper off after and install it it only thakes 15 minutes
|
yes !!you have to drill some holes to it
|
hmmm 15 minutes...? i dont know if its that easy, since i wont be the one installing in the first place
there must be a way to install it without taking off the bumper.... |
nop no way !! and is gonna be one hour total with the fogs
good luck |
bumper isnt hard to take off, theres a diy here on the forum i think
|
You just take out some screws and pop it off, first time I did it took 10 minutes or so. Even if there is a way to do it without taking it off, I wouldn't. Taking it off will make putting them on very easy.

well im talking about a aftermarket fibreglass mazdaspeed bumper, not oem. so im not sure if its easy to put back on after the body shop fits it.
im not sure if you have to be pro to "RE-fit" it on again |
If you cannot manage to take the bumper off in less than 15 minutes you have no business near a tool box.
