Installing Body Kits?

I am new to this and this will actually be my first car!
Not bad for your first car eh? Although, I have been driving for 5 years.

Now, Say I do purchase the mazda speed kit, how does it get put on? Do you do it yourself? Do you pay someone to do it? How long does it take? Can someone elaborate?

Thanks so much in advance!

Body kits are pretty much ez to install...just some bolts and nuts to the main body of the car. But it would be better if you take it to a body shop and they do it for you like around couple hundred bucks or less. It may be expensive but at least it's guaranteed and much better than you installing it yourself.

Installing the body kits wont take that long...usually it's about an hour or two. but if it need painting...den it'll be at least a day.

Body kits usually come unpainted...especially those aftermarkets one. But the one from the places like trd and mazdaspeed, they come prepainted in factory color only. and if it come unpainted...u'll have to burst out more of money depending on your car color...but i'll say at least $300 just so in advance.

So do they just clamp on or do you have to drill holes? I'm thinking about getting the Aero kit and installing it myself since it comes prepainted.

I love this car and want to start working on it myself.

Total for side, front and rear kit plus the Fender stakes is $1048 at Mazdastuff.com
