dillsrotary 07-08-2010 07:09 AM

Makes me want to puke on your car, is that what you mean by "illest"?

RX8YA 07-08-2010 08:04 AM

^ For you old man lmao jk
illest = the best ever. tops everything

Ryan2008 07-08-2010 08:12 AM

"illest" is stupid. I think people throwing it on their car is even more stupid.

You should replace it with "RX-". That would look the "illest" in my opinion. ;)

Ryan :smoker:

paulmasoner 07-08-2010 08:16 AM

i think lil wayne might be the only person alive who can still use the term ill and all its variations without being laughed at. and thats only cause he's rich.

BlackRX82006 07-08-2010 12:00 PM

On a side note, I am ordering "I'm one of the baddest motha fuckas of all times" in the cursive writing and putting it on my trunk

This was my reaction. If I saw this in person I would buy you a Vanilla Ice cd.

Kudos for originality though.

venom914 07-08-2010 05:33 PM

personally i like it but im thinking of later on debadgeing everything so it might eventually come off anyway

Grog 07-08-2010 05:36 PM

It looks tacky and out of place, if you ask me.

imput threw a pretty nice "illest" sticker on his car and I think it looks a lot cleaner overall:

venom914 07-09-2010 10:50 PM

yeah i saw another pic of his car tho and its jsut a solid black sticker on a cf trunk and that looks outta place but in that pic^ it looks nice

tiltmode43 07-09-2010 11:27 PM

It seems like many of you guys don't realize Illest is a company associated with Fatlace/Hellaflush, very well known/popular. It has nothing to do with using the word, lol.

Oh, but I did find this too.

laythor 07-10-2010 12:15 AM

do people still use the word "Hellaflush"?

Ryan :smoker:

dont say "gay" as an insult. i have gay friends and we have gay club members -being compared to this "illest" thing is an insult to them.

really i thought people stopped saying illest 15 years ago. it wasn't cool the first time around. id buy you a vanilla ice CD too... no i wouldnt, i wouldnt give that guy money.

The Reverend 07-10-2010 12:36 AM

"illest" and "hellaflush" are icons/representations of a style not just the words. make fun of the style but to make fun of someone saying "illest" (when pertaining to this kind of car modification) is missing the point of why the op would put the badge on his car

sure the kids who came up with the names could have done better but oh well :cwm27:

geniuses

laythor 07-10-2010 01:14 AM

when you put them on a car, they become words

oh so now a "lifestyle" is wearing some marketing crap from acompany and putting stickers that mean nothing on your car. its like "trendy"

i must be getting old. we used to call this "fronting" or "posing"

" the kids who game up with.." its just some marketing department. not a grass roots gathering.

whatever happened to

I apologize for my own stupidity, I did not mean to offend anyone. I edited my original post to further accomadate the forum policy.

Sorry Zoom!

I was explaining what it was for those calling the badge "original," that is all. I guess I'm a bit too timid to be calling guys out for being "posers," regardless of my own opinion. I usually leave that up to the others. If this were posted on a forum where those hellaflush dudes hung out he'd probably be called out in minutes for it. A part of me still thinks along the "to each, his own" lines and see's nothing wrong with someone wanting to associate with a company, for whatever reason.

And yes, it's a brand made popular by a norcal shop that is currently doing ridiculously well. Kudos to them but this hypebeast stuff isn't for me, and that's typically what I associate those hellaflush/illest stickered up cars with. It's all over many of my other regular forums, rx8club typically has a different crowd and we really don't get many of those guys. I think it has something to do with our car being too slow :lol2:

Kudos on the post regarding gay being used as a derogatory word; using the word as such is an utmost sign of immaturity.

laythor 07-10-2010 11:05 AM

when you make a post asking for opinions.. expect them :)
