The OP has the OE air dam which provides support and provides mounting holes to attach the under trays. He does not have the stock black lip that is present when you do not have the OE air dam. Look at the pictures. Trust me I have removed and installed both on my car.

My apologies I was under the impression he had the stock black plastic piece. Although regardless of this if his bumper cover is cracked or missing pieces on the driver side which to be honest i cant tell from the pictures he going to need a new one

Just buy a new bumper... you probably cracked the part/piece that would hold your lower air dam to your bumper anyways.

Here's an idea...find the DIY on here about removing the bumper. Take it off and LOOK what you need and don't need comparing to the parts breakdown shown earlier. Get what you
y need, fix it and put it back together and get it over with. It takes all of 15 minutes to take it off BTW.

By the looks of it, you need a new air dam, and undercover. you do NOT need an entire new bumper. Just a lot of parts from the bottom of the car, the actual connections for some of those parts may be broken off the original bumper. But my immediate response is no, you don't need an entire new bumper.

Hey, the same thing happened to me, at 80ish on the highway.

Anyway, I just removed the rest of the air dam. The air dam is basically the factory appearance package lip that GT cars came with; it was also an option for other cars. Non air dam cars have a more discrete piece which is really just a panel so that the undertray can connect to and provide support to the bumper.

So since you do have the air dam, you are left with two holes on each side of the bumper, and no place for your undertray to connect to properly.

I have been driving air damless and undertrayless for almost a year now. I don't recommend it, but you may have to sport that style until you get something new.

I'm personally waiting for the Shine FEED bumper until I purchase a new undertray (since that would involve buying a new lip so that it can connect to).
