I think the Dealer screwed up my headlights, little help please

I had my front bumper and driver's headlight replaced. I went out today to try and raise the cut off and realized it's not at all straight. The cut off is a broad U shape, putting the majority of the light high and to the sides. There's also a round shadow on the ground in front of the car that looks like the business end of a bullet.

The passenger side beam is wide and flat without the shadow.

Is this an installation issue or is the driver's side designed differently? If it is wrong, how can I fix it?

ttt, anyone?

Sounds like they did. Get them to fix it, otherwise just get behind the front wheel wells to your headlight harnesses and re-insert your bulbs.

is it just a matter of pulling the wheel and splash guard and then installing the bulb like a normal halogen bulb? I've never dealt with HIDs, so I'm not sure if there's anything new to know.

thanks for the help.

If I remember correctly it's the same thing as dealing with the halogen bulb, the HID bulb is just a little bit longer. Just make sure you don't touch the bulbs themselves!! There's a DIY around here somewhere I just don't remember which DIY it was... sorry!

sounds like the bulb is incorrectly installed/ not the headlight itself...the bulb is easy to take out and put back in - a circular cover screws off and then a spring loaded finger clamp holds in the bulb....same happened to me

right on, thanks for the help!
