Yea, people get all pissy when you don't search.. My car is loud enough to get attention but not so loud it makes my ears ring.. Agency power catback + fluid header + dual resonated midpipe.. Contact Raceroots if you want that setup, I'm sure he can get you a good price.

Keep in mind, midpipe=removed CAT=no warranty, so yea..

High flow cat will increase noise too.

He's gonna fit in great!! (no sarcasm) We are all sarcastic here, thats the 8 way apparently. don't take it to heart, we all have gotten burned in the beginning. But honestly, if you want loud, I ran AP (Agency Power) and a midpipe. It was loud, threw flames, and I orgasmed every time I drove her. But, I like mine louder than most can deal with. It was good to me, but others don't like that loud. So, the ultimate decision is up to you. Your best bet is to go to local meets and hear others exhausts and then decide what sound you like the best.

From another point of view.

I took out my stock box and installed a KN cone filter bought at Kragen/Oreillys straight to my throttle body using the stock box's cylindrical MAF tube. Short Ram Design. My car, though stock everywhere else, is much louder than my friend's stock Rx8.

Before that, I had a custom Home Depot Cold Air Intake using plumbing pipes routed outside the engine bay right behind the bumper's main opening. This was much louder to the public.

Both will make it loud.

And just a thought I took into consideration before attempting to get the same goal (loudness) that you have. The louder the car, whether it be exhaust or intake, the more likely someone else will be able to notice your foibles when driving. That idea right there made me hold my horses and want to refine my driving "skill" a bit more before turning my car into an ostentatious rocket.

Its all good i never take anything to heart and i work as a plumber so im used to alot of sarcasm lol thanks for the info it really helped alot. im always down to learn more and more about my car, thats why i love this site. I guess until i get my agency exhaust and midpipe im just going to have to drive around and blast the horn Does the Agency shoot flames naturally or do you need to buy a flame kit? from the youtube videos it looks like it shoots them at the higher RPMs

it doesn't matter what catback you have, its the midpipe that allows you to throw flames. When you have a cat, you cannot throw flames. Take out the cat with a midpipe, then you have flames. The "kit" is the midpipe.

Our cars run rich from the factory so when you take out the cat all the hydrocarbons that got burned up in the cat now leave your tailpipes as flames.

Also, you have to have your rpms up high. if you are out of gear, 9500 is what I rev to to get good flames. When driving, you can get them, sometimes, when down shifting to accelerate or when initially accelerating and redlining.

just chop off the resonator, it dont cost you anything and still sounds good plus it keeps you legal cuz you still have your cat and mufler.. i did that before putting on an hks exhaust i have a vid on youtube.. check out rx8 with no resonator..

I've seen it on Nikkdizzle's car when we were in the canyons, and he said that mine was shooting little ones too. Definitely not the baller flames that you get by going catless.
