Headlights and foglights
Hey guys,
Im jsut wondering about a few things. 1. Ive always liked headlights with a violet tinge to them, I dont really want to go to any 8000, 9000, 12000K lights, so I was wondering if I could get some 4300K Xenon bulbs, with a violet coating. I would prefer this because the 4300 creates the most light, and as you get higher in temp, the brightness of the light decreases. If I can buy them, then is there any kind of coating I can apply to the bulbs? 2. Im getting a new INGS nose, so I may be required to get some new foglights that are easier to mount. Again, is there a coating I can apply to just generic halogen foglights, in order to make them blue? Or if possible, are there HID halogen fog lamps with a blue coating? I know you may not agree with my choices, but I really want to do this the right way, and not sacrifice the brightness of my headlights for a colour. Thanks alot guys. -Bindon |
1. No, if you coated the bulbs you would loose more lumes than 8000K xenon bulbs.

2. No, but you can buy HID fog lights. Look on ebay for H11 HID conversion kit. They go between 200-300 dollars.
