id like to know this, too.. this happens to my 8 after a whole day of rain or a real good car wash

How did you get it out ? It happened yesterday after i washed it ! Worst part is it rained two days ago and no rain got inside :(

Mine do that too. It eventually clears up. One suggestion that I've gotten from a guy who used to do lighting for Ford, is to find (or drill) a vent hole, the cover the hole with a piece of properly oriented Gortex. Moisture will diffuse out but can't pass in.

I'll try it over the winter rebuild.

Never have my headlights with moisture, only the rear tail lights. Anyway, I think the gasket has a leak somewhere.

most times it is just something that happens when it rains or you wash your car, and usually will dry up after a few hours. if there is moisture in them all the time then you have an issue with the seals for sure.

Nonsense, expert noob. The headlight assembly must be vented, else the air heating from the lights will self-vent them as the pressure builds. In climates with humidity and temp variation, humid air gets drawn in, then cools after shutdown at night resulting in foggy insides.

Well mine cleared up overnight, should i put another gasket or . . . :dunno:

True, however you would have an issue with your seal if all day long morning, and night you have water/moisture in your headlight assembly.

True enough.

My car got a complete detail and they must have washed really well (hope so) that moisture got inside for the first time. It happened on my driver's side headlight. I took it home and used a hairdryer and it dried the smaller droplets pretty well. I am seeing how well they will dry on their own. May go back to the hair dryer. I'm hoping it will not happen in the rain.
