front mud guards installation
Putting on front mud guards that i just receive from delivery today.
I was just wondering how to remove the stone guard clips along the side of the car. People have said this installation was easy, but I'm just a noob. :p By the way, I have 18" wheels. Thanks in advance :D |

Thanks Go48.
I do have the instructions, but it seems confusing. From which side of the car do i stick the screwdriver in to pop it out? From the front of the car or the back? |
Ditto on the trimming of the rubber molding. If you follow the directions you'll leave a big gap. I trimmed mine after installing the guard and there's no gap.

Check the Exterior forum... seems to me this has been discussed before...

In fact, I think I'll move this thread to that forum, as you're apt to get a lot better response there.

You will be working from the front end of the car working your way to the back of the car, although it doesn't really matter since you are going to remove the stone guard entirely to cut it down. |
Thanks a lot Go48!
That's exactly the information i needed :) Went to do it and just finished a while ago. They look great :D |
Glad to help. That's what this forum is for, right?
